Greetings my name is Suzy Blue I am a bodywork practitioner with over eight years experience. I am qualified and practiced in the following therapies;

My mother was a massage therapist and growing up we would have regular family massage days which i always loved. When sickness became any family member the first port of call was always the herb garden before the doctor, I feel very blessed to have this deep love and respect for all natural healing methods instilled in me from a young age and have tried my best to continue the development of my knowledge in this area throughout my life. As well as absorbing all passing knowledge on health and the human body with wide eyed wonderment I have also engaged in conventional methods of study starting with a two year holistic health care course in Galway from 2006 till 2008 . This gave me a more learned and medical view of  human anatomy and physiology, and i gained my first qualifications in massage and reflexology. I Then used these skills to travel the world working and gaining more knowledge and experience in France, Australia and Thailand. I was especially inspired by the style of massage used in Thailand and spent time studying in a hill tribe village in northern Thailand here i learned to use a very deep and dynamic form of Thai massage. With this knowledge i came back to Ireland and worked for one year with excellent Thai therapists this experience was deeply profitable for my development as a therapist. In 2012 after one year there i finally felt ready to become self employed, For the last two years i have been working and studying in Dublin gaining further qualifications including sports therapy and Tuina ( Chinese medical massage using acupressure points). I have also been treating patients in the mater hospital with a variety of serious illnesses and injuries, this work i have found to be extremely rewarding for me and beneficial for the patient. I have now moved to cork to continue both my work in hospitals and my private practice in the dervish massage co-op.
